- Abstract
The bolboceratine genera are revised for Australia and New Guinea. Five of the seven genera are left unchanged; Blackburnium Boucomont (Howden's sense) is redefined in a more restricted sense, the excluded species being placed in three new genera, Austrobolbus, Bolbolophus, and Bolboleus, and the Australian species of Bolbapium Boucomont are transferred to the new genus Bolbaineus. All genera are described, and most are illustrated; a key to the genera is given together with a list of included species and their distributions. The literature on the Australian genera is reviewed and listed and discussions on the biology and faunistics of the tribe are provided.
